Vuze XR Dual Camera Lets You Shoot Both in 360° and VR 180°
The $400 dual camera offers 5.7K high-res video recording that can be live streamed to your favorite social media channel.
When we think of cameras that can capture breathtaking VR videos, the image that comes to our mind are bulky cameras that are a hassle to carry when you are out for a trip or vacation. But what if we said that now you can have the best of both worlds and even more. The new VUZE XR Camera is the latest VR camera from the company HumanEyes Technologies which brings in both 360° and 180°3D VR in the same package. The company calls the tech “One Camera, Dual Experiences” and we couldn’t agree more!
The ergonomically designed product houses two cameras. In the 360° configuration, the camera rests in a folded position, enabling it to have a stereoscopic 360° view of its surroundings. In the Human Eyes configuration, the device is able to capture VR 180° in 3D VR. The VUZE XR supports 5.7K resolution for its 360° view.
We can see that this device will serve a multitude of applications especially for content creators and social media enthusiast. However, the VUZE XR is undoubtedly aimed at anyone who needs a pocket-friendly device that is portable and one that doesn’t stand out.
If you are thinking about buying a portable camera that serves multiple functions whilst being portable, then here are some standout features that might shift your opinion towards the VUZE XR. It enables live streaming to various social media channels, this feature alone can bring in votes that are in favor of this device. Also, the device features an editing app that will help you to edit the content before posting it to social media.
“The Vuze XR Camera is a must-have for anyone with a story or special moment to share, from consumers to prosumers. With powerful 360° and VR180 5.7K camera technology built in, along with instant sharing and a live streaming mode, anyone can enjoy the freedom of shooting their story, the way they want,” said Shahar Bin-Nun, CEO of HumanEyes Technologies.
Not much is known in terms of the core specification of this device, even the model of the sensors is unknown. But from the promo video, we can make out that the device contains some sort of stabilization feature along with waterproofing. However, take it with a grain of salt until future announcements go live.
The biggest selling point of the VUZE XR is its ability to shoot in both 360° and VR180°. If you scour the market, there aren’t many devices that can do all three in the same form factor. The device will have a sub $400 price tag and has a release date of Q4 2018.
