Vodafone has launched two IoT wearable products namely a watch and a band. This is an extension of the range of consumer services and goods that are launched by Vodafone. Both the products have a SIM card that is embedded in the V-SOS Band. It is a step towards “enabling parents to stay in contact with their child when they start to give them more independence.”
One of the most exciting features of this “V-Kids Watch by Vodafone” is a 450mAh battery that can provide power for as many three days. It also includes the functions of messaging, gaming, location and of course, the SOS feature.
This smartwatch for children is connected through the mobile network of Vodafone and allows parents to track their kids when they go to places alone. It is a multi-functional smartwatch that offers a range of other services like adding “safe zones” in the saved locations such as the school complex, the neighborhood areas, and others.
