A startup that goes by the name of Human Capable Inc. has come up with an all-new range of AR glasses called the Norm Glasses. After the lack of success of the Google Glasses that failed due to their less than attractive design, augmented reality glasses were at a standstill.

This prompted companies to integrate the AR technology in sleek and regular-looking glasses, and this is precisely what Human Capable Inc. has done with Norm Glasses.

These pair of glasses are quite run-of-the-mill except for the fact that behind their undistinguished looks, they pack a rather sturdy technology. Norm is a pair of regular black shades from the front as well as the back.

They are lightweight, weighing only 36 g. Moreover, you can choose from three sizes and even fit them with any prescription lens according to your requirements. That said, behind all this regularity, the thing that makes these glasses notable and distinctive is the hidden tech in them.

Norm comes with memory, CPU, microphone, storage, battery as well as an optical system that allows the device to project data in front of your eyes directly. In addition to that, it also has speakers on the arm and a camera in the front for easy access.

Norm also allows you to listen to your favorite music and make phone calls with the open speakers that will be present right near your ears. You can also use it to shoot videos and take photos, after which you can easily transfer the data to other devices.

Another exciting feature of these glasses is that they allow you to scan QR codes and barcodes seamlessly.

You can control Norm easily through voice commands, a mobile app, through cool head gestures and a touchpad system. Moreover, if you are concerned about your privacy and security while using the device, you can also access some of its features offline.

The company is funding the glasses through the American Corporation Kickstarter. The shipping of the product is expected to begin in the first month of 2020.
