The Annual Military Virtual Training & Simulation Summit is taking place this 2019 for the third consecutive year. The event will occur at the Mary M Gates Learning Center that is located in Alexandria, VA on 22nd and 23rd May 2019. The Summit this year promises a number of things, starting from bringing together military leaders, DoD officials, and academia as well as solution providers.
Some other relevant stakeholders are also expected to be a part of the event. The 2019 Summit aims to emphasize the usage of VT&S or Virtual Training & Simulation technologies so that warfighter readiness and the overall safety can be enhanced and the underlying costs can be reduced. The Summit also plans to focus on how best to leverage these technologies in the military domain to assist in the training of future operations in a multi-domain.
There will be a number of topics covered at this event including the utilization of simulation and modeling in order to close readiness gaps and lethality. There will also be a good discussion on leveraging the LVC and M&S solutions for an enhanced unit, soldier as well as force readiness. In addition to that, you can also expect the topic of increasing soldier lethality to be brought up through the use of simulation and modeling.
The 3rd annual Summit of Military Virtual Training & Simulation is a must-attend event for a plethora of very compelling reasons. For starters, the event will bring together industry experts and the best minds to strategize and talk about the future direction of the utilization of all these technologies. These emerging concepts of simulation and modeling technologies will be discussed at length, and their possibilities in the military arena will be explored fully. In addition to that, the DoD will no longer be needed to spend several million dollars for the shipment of equipment and men overseas for training purposes as they can train right at home.
The Military VT&S Summit 2019 will also focus on the use of VT&S and other emerging technologies to ensure that these simulated battles can become a reality very soon. The warfighters of the United States of America must train and be prepared for all kinds of operational environments due to the continuous threat from various non-state actors. Therefore, accomplishing this task would require the US military to whole-heartedly embrace the virtual systems and the related technologies to be able to simulate everything from the distant and far-flung villages of Afghanistan or dense Chinese cities for the matter. These virtual reality systems will definitely ensure that American soldiers are ready and set for battle as well as to defend the people of America and their assets against foreign invasion.
The 2019 Summit is, therefore, full of promise and features the dire need for rapid development and acquisition of the VT&S technology to enhance the services of the military department of the US. This program also promises open dialogue to resolve some of the most strategic challenges of the nation.
