“VR/AR Global Summit Europe is designed to bring together both industry-leading solution providers as well as the brands and companies looking to deploy these types of technologies to improve and enhance their business. In addition to the enterprise, we also have an exciting gaming and entertainment program planned,” Stated Kris Kolo, Global Executive Director, VRARA.
In 2018, the VR/AR Global Summit Europe was held at Vancouver. This year, the management chose Lisbon and there is a valid reason behind it. Lisbon, often touted as “The San Francisco of Europe” has a very dynamic technological scene. Lisbon is ranked 5th in the global Startup Ecosystem. The place is buzzing with startups and technology companies are thriving in Lisbon making a name for themselves internationally.
The decision to host the event in Lisbon in 2019 is a well thought out decision. The event is going to be a great platform for new companies as well as a place for veterans to show their hold in the market. Since VR and AR have been making waves in the digital entertainment industry, the guest list also contains popular production companies will be also marking their presence at the event.
