FIFA World Cup 2018: FOX Sports Reveals Digital Coverage Options Including VR

Football fans are in for a great treat by FOX Sports, as the channel will be delivering a high volume coverage of the FIFA World cup 2018 to be held in Russia. It will include all 64 live matches and more from 14th June to around 15th of July, which is likely to be larger than the combined matches of the last 4 World Cups.

David Wertheimer, who is the president of Digital Products for Fox Networks Group said, “Soccer fans and casual viewers alike will be delighted by our World Cup executions across the FOX Sports apps and FOXSports.com. Just like our broadcasts, FOX Sports digital products provide unprecedented access — getting viewers closer and deeper into the action.”

Many leading companies have joined the effort of FOX as sponsors, like the top sportswear company Adidas and beverages company Coca-Cola. In addition to co-sponsoring of the team channels with Adidas. Coca-Cola will also be sponsoring the most watched short highlights of 90 in 90 matches, which is also one of the top programs of FOX Sports.

The Hub of the most waited FIFA World Cup will be launched by the week of June 4th and will dynamically display all the live matches, tournament status, and all the other highlights. The FOX website FOXSports.com and application FOX Sports App will be provided with all the contents of FOX Sports digital.

Some of the key features that will be available to users are live streaming and complete replays of all the 64 matches to be held, a match center which has a variety of extra features (like bonus feeds, rosters, commentary, highlights, stats etc.), special Highlight Machine which will be presented by Adidas, Fan Guide, Exclusive Original Feeds, Schedules, Team Pages, Stats, Standings and much more.

The FOX Sports will have everything so that a football fan can sit glued to the TV until the end, without having to change the channel. Also, it has an innovative collaboration with IBM to offer the best experience for the football fans.
